Basically.

As a rule, I distrust Joss Whedon stuff until it’s proven. So far the only thing he’s done that I didn’t like was Buffy. (both the series and the movie, didn’t like the series at all, and the movie was very “meh” but then again that was part of the point of it)

Firefly was OK, but I hated the western theme. It’s definitely a good watch, but far from getting me as excited as the “yes” answer to the poll.

Fair enough; I confess that I’ve never actually met anyone who thought Firefly wasn’t amazing, hence the poll options. Western theme and all :slight_smile:

Firefly’s been re-airing on the Science channel, so I’ve been re-watching it on the telly. It’s great fun, and I like the scientific review of it after each episode.

Loved it. Star Trek:TNG used to be my favorite in that arena, but Firefly took it’s place (about time). I really wish the show lasted longer, but at least they made the movie.

You got lucky, most people start by asking a stupid question about the mod that’s been answered 9002 times already and then after the flame session they leave and never come back, or just post to troll because they think it’s all we do.

To be fair, you do have a Serious Business quote over a troll face for your avatar :stuck_out_tongue: But no, I actually have read many many of these threads, why people get banned (Oh Maxey…), and I think I’m as up to date as possible on the mod development. You got off lucky, many of the regular trolls are banned this week :stuck_out_tongue:
(Don’t get me wrong, there are more trolls, and bigger trolls, but the consistent trolls have the week off.)

Saw Serenity, own the complete series. Only watched the first 6 or so episodes.
