This is another, but last wallpaper of Black Mesa.
Inspired by the Michael Jackson’s, ‘This Is It’ movie poster.

I’d appreciate CnC. I can see a few problems myself, But I’d like to hear what you think. :slight_smile:

It was pretty simple to do, I like how the background ended up. Used some clouds, a grunge texture, some noise that was motion blurred and rippled.

The lens flares were quite experimental, and didn’t work, so I just took the image into After Effects and used Knoll Light Factory.

Here’s another wallpaper for those who want it without Gordon on.
(WHO WANTS THAT? I MEAN, WHO!?)

Pretty neat, but the bg is in my opinion too dark. I’d add some ligt source on it. (Maybe it’s my ol’ crappy CTR)
There are few unfitting transistions in the Gordon, too, but it looks still nice.

Overall, beoutiful wallpaper. If there was a rating system, i’d give you artistic.

Yeah, I did make the BG a little bit darker to make Gordon stand out.
And some of the transitions like you say, are a bit… unrealistic.

A thought of mine is to possibly flow from top to bottom following the story line possibly, showing key scenes of the chapters. I realize some images to accomplish that aren’t out, but just for future reference.

The background alone is nice, the textures work well together. Only issue I had at reading the background was the angle. Since as mentioned, it’s a bit dark, it took me a second to read what it was. Try a 50/60% black possibly?

Nice wallpaper, I’ve made this my current one too. Maybe you could upload it in several resolutions to suit our widescreen needs?

Pretty cool. The multiple lens flares are a little distracting, but I’ll get over it. Nice job!

yah, I don’t really like the arrows there…too big, and…I dunno. If you want arrows, I’d suggest more of a graffiti-type wallpaper or something.
