Films/series involving beasts from different dimensions...?

Can you remember any films or TV series involving creatures from other dimensions, a la Half Life? I can recall two, the first one properly Lovecraftian:

… in which a resonator is used to access other dimensions. Second, a BBC series, involving creatures that were slipping through into our dimension in order to harvest people’s serotonin. I was only young, so the rubbish special effects didn’t change the fact it was proper scary. That was -

the mist is an awesome book and the movie adaption is surprisingly good as well

the awesome his dark materials trilogy from phillip pullman also has a story revolving around parallel universes/dimensions. sadly the movie for the golden compass sucks balls imo, and i don’t think they’re adapting the other 2 books

There’s this one BBC series we get on the SyFy channel here in the states called Primeval, A whole bunch of dinosaurs and Prehistoric beasts are portalled into modern day Great Britain.

I’m not sure if Mortal Kombat counts. Lots of the fighters are from different dimensions and they aren’t exactly human.
