The gravity gun is by far the best weapon in the game. The combat possibilities are limitless areas with furniture.

Quantum Destabilizer. The Backpack from hell.
Shotgun is the best in both BM and HL2. Its alt-fire does a lot of damage, its reload can be interrupted with no reload time waste. I actually think it’s overpowered is BM because you can use it virtually all the time due to huge ammo reserve - it should be cut in half IMHO.
It’s ammo reserve is already halved from what it was in HL1 (started at something like 125 IIRC)
I remember playing Quake 4 and I would use shotgun over and over if it didn’t hold just 40 rounds maximum… they tend to be so powerful in FPS games so their ammo reserve should be small.
Haven’t tested all of them out yet. So far the good old SMG is the one I tend to use the most since ammo is so common for it and it is pretty accurate in BMS.
Accurate? For me it was so damn inaccurate even on medium range that I would just use glock instead. Which almost replaced the smg for me in BM.
Fire in bursts. It’s a very effective and even accurate weapon when used correctly.
the smg like all automatic weapons is better used in bursts unless you are suppressing a target.
Mine’s the Glock for some reason. I’ve made a script where holding T with the Glock pulled out spams the primary fire at around 400 rounds per minute, making it a lot more efficient than the MP5 considering it deals more damage.
actually it deals the same amount of damage its just more accurate.
