Didn’t that video imply that this sort of treatment, in our modern day societies, could be carried out towards ANY minority of people distinguishable by looks?
It WAS carried out against Jews and (less deadly maybe) against Japanese Americans in the 20th century, it has been carried out against black people in the southern states of the USA since the 18th century (although not on that scale) and is still being used against Arabs nowadays.
We seem to have an awful lot of problems with people who look and/or act different.
And don’t take this video too literally - it’s more of a symbol of the plight that those people have to endure. Constantly being bashed, their human rights being neglected by others.
