The part of the Creation/Evolution debate I find interesting is that of origins.
In that, evolution is not dependant upon HOW life got here - It is just the method of change/adaptation over time.
It will be interesting to follow as more information becomes available as to what the most likely origins are, in terms of āLife beginsā on this rock. Not what todayās thoughts are, but I mean as in a glance into the future would be awesome. (I know, not possible, so have to wait)
I am putting my bets on a a lower viral form of something, but then - It is likely we will never really know for sure - Some puzzles are not able to be completed.
And no, I do not think we were seeded by the same aliens that have been claimed by some, to come and play bump bump with the homo critters.
Problem is: Evolution explains the diversity of life, not the origin. So it doesnāt have that much to do with it.
Actually there have been many experiments on the concept of abiogenesis and you can find evidence that the creation of a lot of the building blocks of life can be done using only carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water. Check out the Miller-Urey Experiments for oneā¦but there are many others, too.
