Error when launch

Hello,

I just bought Black Mesa few minutes ago, and when I successfully installed the game and try to launch it it popped up some kind of error code:

Error!
Unable to load C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bin\fileststem_stdio.dll

please help asap, or I will consider refund.

P.S. I bought it on Steam
P.S2 I’m using 32bit WinXP

The filesystem_stdio.dll file might have been corrupted or deleted by a failed Steam upgrade or other install process, perhaps because of a Windows restart. Uninstall and then reinstall the game.

This might be an issue only with XP.

ehh… so are there any ways to solve this problem? The requirement list said this game can run under 32bit WinXp.

RESPONSE:

It’s being looked at, but our bugfix list is longer than the wait for HL3 atm. We’ll get to it as soon as we can

My personal workaround to the issue is to join us in 2016, or even 2008 and upgrade from XP. I can’t imagine an obscure XP-only issue is the highest of priorities right now.
