error. help please!

the download went just wonderful. i went into video and changed the rez for my game to 1600x1200 and then it just flashed a black window. i heard the music and all that but i had to restart my comp because it wouldent le me do anything. (i used the power button.) so i try to stary it again and i get an error saying…

i dont know what to do. i already tried going into the "set launch options and typed dxlevel 81 and it didnt do anything. i dont know what to do. help me please. :’(

What is your video card? Try updating the drivers.

try adding -w 640 -h 480 to launch options.

Then set your resolution to something lower than 1600x1200

then exit the game and remove that line from the launch options
