Error code 2... I've read the others too

Yes I’ve read the other error code 2 posts, yes I’ve tried reinstalling 7zip, moving the files, renaming, manual install, retorrenting BlackMesa… none of these are working at all. I’m using Win7 32bit if that helps, my hard drive where this is installing on is at around 85 gig, more than enough for the game and defiantly more than enough for extracting. If it makes any difference, the space bar under the drive is red, I have a max of nearly a 913 gig (steam games ahoy!) When installing, my memory was at 1.62-1.73 gb out of 2.99 (4 in total…)

For those who don’t know the error:
Extracting sound/blah/blah
ERROR: Not enough storage is available to process this command.

Failed to extract files. 7-Zip returned error code: 2

I need to make lunch, if you need more info, I’ll post more.

You need to have at least 7.1GB free on drive C:\ because (just like any other) the installer uses a temporary folder there.

[COLOR=‘PaleGreen’]Do you have any third party archiver installed or only the default windows one?

I said this in the other thread, try installing WinRAR first, then run the setup file. Make sure you set WinRAR the default program for 7-zip files, it will ask to set file association during the install.

I have Winrar, and I have more than 7.1 gig of space :confused:

Ok, so I made myself nearly 40 GB of extra space, out of the red indicator in Computer. Still having the same problem…

Edit: I forgot about the 7-zip in winrar, so I checked it in options and I’m still having the problems
