Episode 3 and Source 2 Inside of Source Filmmaker

Perhaps they just called the next version of Source “Source 2” so people won’t keep telling them to make a new engine? :retard:

Also, I recall them saying they were working on improving their tools, so we’ll most likely see a new version of Hammer soon, yay!

The funny thing is, so long as it allows higher-quality graphics & bigger environments, that’ll be enough for people & if it doesn’t, it’ll be even funnier!

Eventually. We’ll see it eventually.

Exactly!

And this is Valve we’re talking about. Soon is eventually.

Talking out of my ass here, but what if this new version of Hammer is released upon the OFFICIAL announcement of Source 2? Bare with me, but in theory, perhaps Valve’s new version of Hammer will not only be a suite of easy-to-handle Source gamemakery tools, but also contain a full licensed version of the Source Engine as a whole, but with a environment that’s also meant to be user friendly.

Basically what I’m getting at is that maybe with the introduction of Source 2, Valve will no longer see it fit to release games on the dated Source engine anymore, thus, they open the floodgates to the masses to let them have at the original Source engine for as long as they want, no charge.

Again, ass-talking.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
