End of the Day

I don’t know if this has been asked before, (a cursory search didn’t turn up anything anyway), but I just got to thinking- What happens once the mod is released? To all of this on the forums I mean. Of course, all of the old stuff will still be here, but what about us? Will we all still post from time to time? As far as internet communities go, I’d say we’re a pretty tight-knit bunch! Dare I say, maybe we’ve even made a few friends. At this point- even since the crash- we’ve been doing this for years! I can’t help but feel like it’s going to be a shame to walk away from it all, everyone scattered to their own little corners of the web again. Thoughts, ideas, nostalgia, etc.

P.S. You’re all pretty cool people.

Well I plan to stick around. I havn’t talked about the mod (with the exception of executing newfags) in, oh what… a year?

I doubt anything will change for the majority of us.

what he said.

In offtopic, technology, and show of…there’s probably about 10% mod related stuffs. So no biggie when it’s released. I’ll still visit

Most regulars will probably stay, I think. And we’re pretty much all Facebook e-friends, so it’s a nice way to keep in touch.

i’ll probably stick around. i don’t see why the release of the mod would end the broken family that is the BM forums. in fact, it might even kickstart the community. there’ll be a huge influx of people when the mod’s released. there’ll probably be members working on maps/devising multiplayer games, taking about different aspects of the game/waiting for ep. 3, etc.

not me :’(

I’ll probably stick around until I’m the only one left.

yeah i dont think any of us go on the forums for the mod

vincentdeckard13[atsignthing]yahoo[dot]com- for Facebook purposes.

ewww, facebook

I’ve been an active user for, oh, six years? I’m thinking I’ll stick around, only out of habit.

I was coerced into making one! I don’t even really check it. It’s more just a way of keeping up with people that I don’t see on a regular basis.

Once done, I’m out. Like a slut, I just use people for their skills to provide me with pleasure.

I figure there’s no real reason to be on the off topic forum for a mod if you want the mod, so I suspect most of us will stay here. Its a pretty neato forum, after all.

See, that’s what I think. It’s well-moderated, and there are some pretty interesting people here. It’s just a good place to hang out. You know, when you’re actually supposed to be studying for a Russian quiz at 8:00 in the morning.

As soon as the first release download reaches 100% is the last time anyone will see me post here, after the mod is released I will go back to lurking every forum I can find until I find one worth posting in again. You were the best sniff I’ll miss you.

But not good enough to keep your attention?

I see how it is.

I hear that.

It won’t make me stop lurking here, I think it would be harder than to stop smoking weed, I’ll stop lurking only when the forums go offline.

same here, I’ll stick around

I’ll stick around, too.
