Draw a zombie.

Fong, I like your diverse faction of zombies. The Abnormal Mutants is on its Way sounds like a terrifying subtitle.

So I am a troll? :’(

Anyway, this is my first “full-sized” picture, so it probably isn’t very good.

Now that I see it like this, it doesn’t look so good. :frowning: Those things along his side are his ribs, with the skin tightened around them.

I don’t have anything to touch it up with so I can’t really fix it. :[

Aside from the enormous head, broomstick posture and missing ribs, it’s pretty nice.

Thank you!
I was worried about the posture and head, but I was just too lazy to fix them. And the missing ribs can be explained by the fact that he was a gaping hole where his stomach should be. I guess they just fell out.

I won’t doubt that some creativity must exist as a programmer, but don’t you need to be mostly logical to be a good programmer? Before you mention a million situations where you have to be creative in programming, ask yourself if what you are doing is also logical ^^ it may just be so.

Not saying you or other programmers aren’t creative, and you seem to be able to draw etc, just saying i believe they are typically more logical. just throwin that out there… on the slightly off topic side, since i cant draw guds neway.

When this thread was first started, I was trying to find a photoshop creation that I had made to post on here, but lost the file somewhere and couldn’t post it when this thread was alive. I found it recently and if I can find it again I’ll post it up here. I’m kinda glad that this thread was resurrected so I can finally post it. The only reason I am not posting it now is because the only copy I have of it is on a disc back at school, and I am currently at home for spring break. I wont be back at school to post it until Sunday.

The picture was a part of a project that my friend and I were going to do toward the end of my senior year in highschool last year. I had just gotten my hands on Photoshop, most of the other adobe programs and a DSLR with a good range of lenses through a photojournalism class I took at school. I really wanted to see what I could do with it all. At the time a good friend of mine was into graphic novels and anything zombie related. During a moment of inspiration I proposed we make a graphic novel using the DSLR to take pictures, photoshop to edit them and other adobe programs to create the graphic novel layouts and make a pdf copy. I don’t quite care about zombies or graphic novels; I just wanted to see if I could do it. I took a test shot to see if I could manipulate it right, and we were quite pleased with the results. The picture that I will post I showed to several people and got them amped up and willing to volunteer for the project. When I told my photojournalism teacher about my plans and showed her the image I made, she offered to suspend all my other assignments for the rest of the year to let me work on it as long as I brought her whatever I made on a regular basis. Sadly, we started the project late in the year and classes got in the way and nothing became of it. I hold the picture to be some of my best photoshop work. It probably won’t be much to seasoned photoshop users, and I make no claim that it is something really special, but I am curious to see what others think of it. I haven’t been able to use photoshop much since I graduated from highschool, so its a pretty good representation of where I am in skill level in photoshop. I’d like to hear what more experienced users think of it and critiques in general.

Sounds neat. See if you can dig it out.

FLESH MAN

^^ Reminds me of the FO3 ghouls…

most obviously a headcrab zombie. Clothing is based off my school’s uniform for girls, obviously… hope you guys like it

The blood took SOOOO long to make.

I finally hosted it, and its now up for your viewing pleasure. Please comment. This is my test at trying to make it look like the zombie had a chunk taken out of it. I have another one where the chunk isn’t taken out, but I didn’t want to upload them both since they are pretty much the same thing. EDIT: Eh, I decided to load them both anyway.

There we go its up now!

See, I’m such an artist.

inorite?

i saw this thread and thought it would be a good excuse to have a good at drawing on photoshop so here is my attempt at a headcrab zombie
https://rockcitygeorge.deviantart.com/art/black-mesa-zombie-158224747
p.s i forgot to put the teeth in the chest mouth thing hmm i mite change it later

There are no teeth, and there isn’t a “chest mouth”, it’s a ripped open chest that reveals the ribs jutting out from their innards.

Also, I pissed myself laughing at Aaagreen’s drawing, and I have no idea why.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
