While pedophilia (which causes sexual attraction to pubescent and childlike individuals) definetly is a sexual disorder, it is perfectly normal for healthy, straight men to be attracted to adolescent females that have already reached sexual maturity. As soon as the female body develops a certain form (a significant difference in circumference between the waist and hips), it starts to appeal visually to sexually mature males of any age. This is genetically preprogrammed instinct and only considered a taboo in certain modern cultures and societies that have laws to protect minors from sexual “abuse” by older males. Such societies, for instance, do not consider a 16 year old female to be old enough to decide for herself whether she wants to have sex with a grown man or not.
While some adolescent females might disagree with this state of the law, it clearly serves a good purpose and should be enforced wherever necessary. However, to think that, just because there is a law against a certain human behaviour, it can be considered sick and abnormal, while in truth it is just what our human urge for reproduction tells us to feel, is just plain wrong.
Not advocating sex with minors, though. Just pointing out a significant detail in the difference between pedophilia (a sexual perversion) and parthenophilia.
Pedophilia = Sexual attraction to preteens and pubescent, childlike individuals who have NOT yet reached sexual maturity.
Parthenophilia = Sexual attraction to adolescent individuals that HAVE already and clearly reached sexual maturity.
The more childlike the adolescent, sexually mature individual looks, the more difficult the difference between pedophilia and parthenophilia is to discern. Some speak of “borderline pedophilia” in this case. While clearly causing some concern, this particular case is considered to be mostly harmless, because the subject of desire is of legal age, and thus the focus of the sexual attraction and/or interaction is still within legal boundaries.
As long as these adolescent individuals have not yet reached “legal” age (which differs from country to country, but is most commonly considered to be reached on the 18th birthday), sexual intercourse with older partners is considered illegal for them, and the blame is usually on the older one.
