I know this mod is free and all, but id love the opportunity to donate money to the devs after playing the game through. The amount i donated would depend on how much i enjoyed it. If i was blown away i would probably donate about £20 (which is about $40 afaik). If i thought it was a good game then probs £5-£10.
Will there be a way for customers to donate money to the well deserved devs?

It amazes me how people would rather start a new thread than type a few words into the search box. One word in this case. The developers have no will to accept donations, nor legal rights to. They have not licensed the engine, and it is not their IP but Valve’s.
The developer team can’t accept any money whatsoever for this project, because they are recreating something they don’t have copyrights to. Hopefully they will be compensated by epic fame and prestige for creating one of the most ambitious mods ever (also adsense?), but thats all.
It will be something amazing to put on their résumés / portfolios to say the least.
Not much of a reward if you already have a job, however. But these guys are going to be heroes in the world of game development if they stick the landing (30 days baby!)

Technically you could legally donate, so long as it wasn’t toward the development of the mod. It could be towards maintaining the website or towards a real Hummerang for Raminator.
