[COLOR=‘Red’]sometimes i have luck and one corpse don’t disappear but then i get this error (in red)

I’m also having this problem and I’m in Australia as well. The people who’ve replied to this problem seem to be from Australia and Germany? I’m only bringing that up because, in game, its reminding me of playing the censored version of Left 4 Dead 2. I’m not sure if Germany had the censored version as well, but I’ve heard a lot of violent games are also censored there.

The majority of enemies are just falling through the floor once you kill them, whereas scripted deaths and corpses landing on certain parts of the environment or dying in certain ways fade out of existence, much like the censored dead do in Left 4 Dead 2.
Is this some kind of region thing, perhaps?

I’m running it at full specs and there’s absolutely no other problems so I don’t think its my computer.

Regardless, this is a gorgeous, brilliant game so really, this is only nitpicking for me. Overall, its not going to ruin the experience for me.

Aye, I have the censored version of L4D2 as well, and the way some bodies fade out in BMS is near identical.

Also, here’s a video of bodies clipping through the floor. Sometimes they clip, other times they get stuck, and still other times they fade out. Not too much of an issue for me, but it’s a bit of an immersion breaker.

I’ve got the same problem, i already tried uninstalling the SDK and the game, but it didnt work so far. Im from germany, too. I also have the censored version of L4D2 in steam.
I downloaded the game via a torrent i saw on reddit (mediafire).
I don’t know how to provide further information from the console and so on, but if somebody could explain me how to do that i’d post it.

FOUND A FIX!

This is veery strange. I created a temporary Steam account and started Black Mesa up. It’s the same installation of both Black Mesa and The sdk yet no more falling through AND no more fading away when npcs die in scripted sequences. When I switch back to my original account, which has several censored games from Valve(but not installed) the problem occurs again but my other account works perfectly fine. I can reproduce this on my laptop, same result.

[COLOR=‘Black’]Srsly, fuck germany and their bullshit censoring of Valve games, because they made CounterStrike. There is not a single fucking uncensored game from Valve. They ruined BM for me.

Location: Germany
Installed and bought Valve complete pack via steam.
Installed and downloaded BMS from Chip.de - mirror.

Specs: Core i7 @ 4 Gb ram, Ati Radeon HD 5650 | catalyst 12.8. Newest PhysX. Is this maybe a PhysX-Bug?

I’ll return with a dump of the console log when i next start the game.

maybe switch some account or steam settings

Sweet, that worked for me as well. Thanks!

ohhhh yes it works !!! you must login with an other steam acc and run black mesa

  • (TF2)
  • CS:GO
  • CSS
  • CS 1.6
  • CS:CZ
    (counter strike complete pack)

but i deleted all games on my main acc and installed only black mesa + source sdk 2007 but always the same …
its enough to own the games.
they dont need to be installed to get this bug

For my part as a games, MOD and tools I have :

Games :
Counter-Stricke: Source
Day of Defeat: Source
Half-Life
Half-Life: Source
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Tow
Half-Life 2: Lost Cost
Left 4 Dead
Portal
Portal 2

MOD :
Cry of Fear (HL1 Mod)
Korsakovia (HL2 Mod)
Nightmare House 2 (HL2 Mod)
FakeFactory Cinematic (HL2 Mod)

Tools :
Source SDK
Source SDK Base 2006
Source SDK Base 2007

works! THANK YOU!

greetings from germany!

I have no Valve games installed on my laptop, but it still happens:

Portal
Portal 2
Left4dead 2
HalfLife 2
HalfLife 2 Ep1
HalfLife 2 Ep2
Counter Strike Source
Team Fortress 2

installed:
Amnesia
The binding of Isaac
braid
Terraria
Red Orchestra 2 hos
Just Cause 2
Super Meat boy

Then I do not understand and I will not create a new Steam account just for this game I rapel I am neither Australia nor ALEMAGNE I’m in France and games have no censorship.

There must be something else, a conflict with the Source Thurs install, but I’m not going to uninstall all my games for it.

:frowning:

Confirmed. Yay.

So here´s now the permanent fix:
you have to go to your BMS-directory, it´s under sourcemods
and change the file (steam.inf) the number in the line
“appID” from 210 to 109. save the file. thats it .

Now it´s permanent working

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
