I was getting an error when I was trying to login to the mod and someone tricked me into typing -directx9 In the launch options of the mod Black Mesa source and now it ruined the ingame graphics. (purple/black checkered) What can I type to undo this error? >

Unfortunately, as for your problem, Iām not entirely sure. I guess you should probably try removing ā-directx9ā.
Someone ātrickedā you? Heh.
You could also try changing it to ā-dxlevel 98ā as last I checked it is the highest DirectX this version of Source utilizes.

Well it seems like your suggestion got me back to where I was before. I am very excited about this game.
Getting this:

Try restarting Steam or your PC?
You may also have to verify or defrag the SDK Base 2007 cache. Library > Tools > Right Click Source SDK Base 2007 > Properties > Local Files.
