Nah, that would be the shield. ****, I thought I tried to forget this game.
There is health in Halo and it regens as well.
Indeed.
Halo 1 had health and a regenerating shield, with the health only being taken away when your shield was completely drained. You had 8 health points and they could only be restored with med-packs.
Halo 2 used just a recharging shield, which if drained would leave the player open to a few shots before they would die if it did not regenerate quickly enough. The shield indicator changes colour the closer to death you are when you have no shield left.
Halo 3 is a bit more complicated. The Player has 115 hit points, 45 health points and 70 shield points. After a player is damaged, health will begin to regenerate after 10 seconds without taking damage. Health regenerates at 9 health points per second. If you are almost killed but recharge your shield, you can still die, as your health is independent.
I wish I could just delete old comments.

Didn’t I say I played Duke Nukem, which doesn’t have regenerating health?
I chose Halo as when I started getting better because it was my first FPS. Now I hate regenerating health unless I play on a high enough difficulty to warrant it.
Learn to read guys.
Regenerating Health has to be done perfectly if you want it to work.
Eg COD2 and onward.
Tbh, noone else has acomplished this.
I bought WoW for my sisters birthday.
Bad decision?

Yes
Your health regenerates in the Rainbow Six games and it’s an okay system because you can still die pretty easy. Lately rainbow six games are more like super hero games though. The scenarios are pretty ridiculous too. In their glory days you would die if you took single bullet and the campaigns were more realistic.
On a sidenote Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 had some pretty sick multiplayer. I’ve played a lot of games online and none have got my heart pumping as much as that did. You’re so vulnerable on every map.
My health dont regenerate on rainbow six games…
:’(:FFFUUU:
In the new ones. Vegas. It’s a Rainbow Six game by name only. It has very little in common with traditional RS.
:fffuuu:
I play rainbow six 3
Come to think of it, STALKER has slowly regenerating health. But you won’t notice because if you get shot twice you’re probably dead.
Stalker also has bleeding though. So depending on what happened a few minutes ago you could be losing health, gaining health, keeping steady at half health… It all balances out in that game.
I had that happen on Oblivion. I’d just emptied this castle-thing of nasty enemies, thought “wow, that was tough: better save” and it crashed.
So then I thought :what:, then :fffuuu:.
I’m a PCfag then lol.
