I’ve knocked up a quick Rainmeter widget that shows a countdown to the release, if anyone wants it.

I like it. Good job.
One thing I noticed though. You need the latest version of rainmeter to run it.

One thing I noticed is that it keep skipping back to 14% for extended periods of time on the green-light counter.

It’s the ‘Alternate Universe’ bug in Greenlight - others have the same problem : https://forums.blackmesasource.com/showthread.php?t=12316&page=22

The widget only scrapes the webpage to get the percentage every 60 seconds, so if Greenlight is showing the wrong data at the time of the scrape then that’s what you’ll get.
Hopefully Valve will sort this out soon. :meh:

Or you could manually updated the widget by right clicking and selecting ‘Refresh skin’ - not ideal I know.

The meter shows the wrong countdown time by about 5 hours. Is there any way to change this? I tryed refreshing many times but no luck. Thanks!

You need to edit the skin to set your timezone correctly - It defaults to UK time.

Right click on the widget and select ‘Edit skin’ , then scroll down to :
Target=“15:47:00 on 14 / 9 / 2012”

Change the 15 to whatever matches your timezone, then save the file.

Then right click the widget and sekect ‘Refresh skin’ . Job done.

If you are not sure, the video link in my first post shows how to do this.
