this morning i was outside and i heard a garbage truck backing up and i had a deja vu of half life where the ceiling turrets are.

Deja Vu, is when you suddenly feel like you’ve been in the same situation before, I think it happens because you’ve actually done the same thing before, probably in a similar location.
This. “Déjà vu” means “Already seen” in french. What happened to you has nothing to do with a feeling/impression of déjà vu. In your case, what you’ve seen just reminds you of Half-Life.
I remember reading that Déjà vu has something related to how fast the infomation you acquire with your senses reach certain parts of brain. I think it happens when the things you are experiencing get stored in brain’s memory before you actually become aware of what’s going on. Several milliseconds later, when you do become aware, you find the exact same event already stored in your memory so you think you’ve experienced it before.
Or the brain just fucked up on the time and date of the last recording.
That’s also true for the dreams. Who was never under the impression that he already had this dream while he hadn’t?
I had a really eerie déjà vu once. I was watching TV with my sister. Someone in the programme ordered something in a tavern. Several seconds later the exact same scene played again, and I actually said to my sister what the person was going to order (and it was something quite uncommon, so it probably wasn’t a coincidence), and she said she hadn’t seen that scene before.
It also wasn’t a rerun because it was a programme I normally never watch.

I sometimes feel that i’ve experienced a moment before, then sometime later i would get the feeling again, and remember getting that feeling the last time. So basically, i experience a moment i will experience in the future, and i know i did when that moment happens. Weird, huh?

Well, where i come from autism is apparently so bad that just insinuating that somebody has it causes a whole shitstorm.

I can predict what people are going to say, apparently my brain has an IRL emulator that can be totally wrong or totally right depending on the situation, to me it feels like deja vu because I can actually hear in my thoughts a whole sentance that someone could say and then when I am 100% sure im wrong they open their mouth and say exactly what I heard in exactly the same way… Feels weird bro.
So basically you try to predict what other people say and sometimes it works? Sounds pretty weird, yeah.
