Day Dream suggestion thread

Marine’s nicknaming enemies and calling out their targets.

Examples would be:
Blues (security)
Whites (scientist)
Eyeball (houndeye)
Squidface (bullsquid)
Beehive (alien grunt)
Headhumper (headcrab)
Big Motherfucker (gargantua)
Zombie (take a guess)

That’d be pretty cool, actually. Reminds me of how the combine call grenades ‘bouncers’, turrets ‘sterilizers’, and so on.

The HECU should use this to carry their tanks and trucks to the BMRF.

And then we get to see a scene where a Garg and some aliens attacks one while it’s unloading and watch a massive battle until the Garg goes after Gordon and chases him up to the mortar segment.

still want revised blood effects. asdasdasd

I was going to use the L4D blood effects.

is that even possible?

Yes.

I’m using them in HL2, EP1, and EP2 already.

In the files add the German version of Black Mesa, where the scientists don’t die they just lie on the ground.

Actually they sit down on the ground and shake their heads. :retard:

That’s what I did when I saw a video of the German version of the game.

I don’t think it’d be very efficient to refer to all those different types of aliens as the same thing :retard: .

can’t fucking find pratcalls:/

HUGE necro reply, but it would be cool if you could feed barnicles grenades then when they swallow them then gib everywhere :retard:

EDIT: I am apparently a noob who is incapable of searching, cool that this will be in the mod though :stuck_out_tongue:

heh-heh-heh bumpin’ uglies.

feet.

But no legs.

another crowbar lying around somewhere so you can find it a dual wield.

Dual wielding gluon guns?
Dual wielding snarks?
The possibilities are endless.

I hacked together two gluons. It was beautiful until it crashed.

^maximum destruction - even to the computer

I like these. But codenames for individual threats would be cool. Perhaps names like ‘Houndeye’ ‘Bullsquid’ and ‘Headcrab’, because these names are already very observational and simple.

If I saw little crabs jumping onto people’s heads, I’d instinctively nickname it a ‘Headcrab’. See what I mean?

PICTURE OR IT DIDN’T HAPPEN

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
