  1. ya asked for a bettar name right? well what do you think about this 1:
    The Calhoun choose. Because he will lead the rebels 1 week and he will need to choose where to go, how to spare around the city the rebels, etc.

  2. you will need a little history before Gordon meets barney so why it wasn’t a normal day of metrocop work when kleiner stablished a connection with him and when the connection got stablished the images of the camera taken to gordon right after his arrival to city 17 get show in the computer and he… well continues the hl2 history, ya know he makes the other cp get out of the room, tells kleiner gordon cames, helps him scape…

I LOVE the idea. I have a suggestion though…I think that you should make it a short little mini game first. You would be Calhoun running around with a stun stick talking like a combine. Or you could make it one big room and with windows and have people swarming in (the HL2 models) and all you can do is stun stick them before your health runs out. You could also have rounds (Yes, this is a lot like call of duty 5 zombies). I think you should do something like that first. Just so you know you can ACTUALLY make a game, and have it running, AND be able to distribute it, before starting a big project like you guys are coming up with. I can help with story, and design.

I like this idea. It would be cool to start a little while before you take controle of Freeman in HL2 to see how you infiltrated Civil Protection.then youd meet up with Gordon and play through the opening bit of HL2. After that your off doing your own thing. Youd need a few time gaps to play through all of Barneys appearances so far but it still sounds like a cool mod. il try and help out with story ideas if it takes off.

The name has to be a scientific phenomena or physical state. Here are some names and plots.
Absolute Zero: A rebel attempts to reach The Borealis in the arctic to rendezvous with Gordon.
Doppler Effect: a teleportation experiment goes awry, creating a clone of one of the characters. Hijinks ensue
Fouling: Again, a rebel attempts to shut down a Combine plant that is pouring pollution into the oceans.

All I’m saying, Dark shift doesn’t follow the trend.

I came up with a name I like, I’m not saying because I’d love to work on a mod similar to this some day. :slight_smile: The only thing getting in my way is that I lack any recognizable form of talent, skill or attention span required to make it. :frowning:

Scientist One: We have just discovered how to time travel! We shall call this process Time Warp!
Scientist Two: Sounds laaaame, how 'bout we just call it Episode Two?
Scientist One: I don’t know, it doesn’t really have a ring to it…

For a name, how about Action Potential, Adaptation, or hell, Natural Selection even? They’re all scientific terms, and I think they relate to Barney’s story.
Also I’m good at testing video games. When my friend was trying to make maps and crap for mods, he’d always come to me to test it out.

This is definitely still alive, just on a short hold until I get my new computer.

As some of you know, I am trying to do that Black Mesa machinima, and I’d love to have that finished around the same time as BM’s release. So I am doing the voicing, intro’s, etc.

I still want this to go on, It’s not cancelled.

Unless, if someone else wants to go on with it for a short while, and I can catch up? That’s just an idea, if anyone really wants to do that.

Maybe, if you are looking for Scientific terms, have: “Terminal Velocity”, unless another mod has it. Sounds like something applicable to Barney.

Counter Attack sound too much like Counter Strike, and it’s not Sciency enough.
