I noticed a kind of blind fire feature I think that might conflict with ironsights.
Website needs more black
this.
there are soo many civilians though…itd make it a counter terrorist nightmare.
not too found of the highlighting either
With proper animations that shouldn’t be a problem. That, or not being able to blind-fire while aiming down the sights.
Looks extremely crappy to me. Random people running around on a basic map and you have to shoot them. How original. Choppy animation, not realistic. Maybe 10 years ago this would have been an average game, but today, no freaking way. What is this compared to something like Half-Life? Even if it’s 11 years old.
all you guys just suck in the game. no need to hide and say the game sucks.
just play something else if you can’t get better at it.
thanks FFUUU,I hate cs and after watch the trailers I want kill myself…
I mean…It looks original…but…god it looks bad!
I like how you can shoot above cover. That needs to be in more games.
CSS is to CS what HL2 is to HL, I believe. Also Valve owns the rights.
Doesn’t look too bad, but alot like a mix of CSS and COD.MW.
Wait and see for yourself I say.
Also if Valve changes even the smallest bit about CSS/1.6 the cries and screams of all the 12 year olds shatter continents. Think about the last “big” CSS update with stats and all that for example. The bitching never stops. NEVAAARGH!!!:fffuuu::fffuuu:
No, CS: S is to CS what HL: S is to HL.
Cover system looks cool.
Pretty horrible other than that.
Let’s say something in between, nothing new gameplay-related, but the presentation changed alot, half-life source was just a port from engine to engine without many graphical improvements.
Who cares about the graphics, it’s going to be free to play
people are complaining that a beta looks choppy…
and you wonder why there are so few updates on BM.
While I don’t completely agree that CSS is a valid successor to cs, that wasn’t my main point with the rather vague question.
The game does clearly look like a sequel to cs, no matter what you call it. Giving it a different name - a pretty stupid one at that - just reduces its chances to become popular enough. It doesn’t have to be called CS2, could get a creative sub-name while still retaining the Counter Strike logo. I’m sure the creators could arrange the legal issues with Valve and get to an agreement. But as it currently is - even tough the game may be promising - It’s pretty much bound to fail.
