Just after killing the two bullsquids, there is an elevator. Everytime I go in and hit the button, the loading text appears, and a few seconds later it crashes to desktop. Anyone have the same issue?

Yes I also have this issue, I posted here but your problem seems more related.
I put two crash dumps there.
I had the same issue. My solution was to turn off flashlight before hitting the elevator button
