I would like to know if i ll be able to just continue to xen (once released) once I have jumped to portal… I would not like to repeat this frenetic action before ending… it was a little bit too difficult for me… :S
No current release of Black Mesa has Xen yet.
That wasn’t their question.
As for said question, I don’t really know. You might have to continue from a save from before you enter the portal room, or worse restart the game from the Lambda Core chapter. I should assume that when Xen is released, you’ll be able to start from any of the Xen chapters in the New Game menu, but considering you won’t have played them yet they might not be “unlocked” yet.
All I can really say is we won’t know until Xen comes out.
Look at it like this: By the time Xen is released, you’ll have probably forgotten how terrifyingly difficult the portal room fight was!
Oh I see.
I imagine they’ll put a nicely located checkpoint just before the jump or even just unlock it in the chapter selection in case you’re there.
Worst-case scenario, you’ll probably be able to just unlock the chapter through the console and start the game from Xen.
Provided updates don’t break your saves, you shouldn’t have any difficulty.
But Source is a finicky little guy, so you’ll probably end up having to restart the chapter. The joys of Early Access.
i might just restart the chapter cause why not, its gonna be a seamless transition from the portal to xen when it gets released anyway
hell, i might just replay the whole game again
I’ll probably just replay the whole game again.
