As title, now do I need to back up any saves etc to continue when rest of game is released as no doubt I will have formatted by then or on new hardware.
Well, if you will have formatted or gotten new hardware, wouldn’t it be obvious that you need to backup? Unless you plan on playing through again…
I know I am going to play through again when Xen is released. Hopefully the devs will have fixed the laggy finale by then as well.
I’m playing it through from the start, I don’t recommend keeping your saves for a future version because they probably won’t work properly since savegames hate changes in the level.
Oh, true that. I guess I’ll probs still keep a save just in case, but yeah, it will most likely be better to start again. Hopefully some bugs will have been fixed, too.
thats your pc bro, i had no lag on maxed out graps, but my gaming pc is high end.
You could always just leave your saves and use this command to unlock the new chapters.
sv_unlockedchapters 15That way you could just start a new game at Xen without having to replay the game or worry about saves.
