when black mesa comes out on steam im going to run through the entire game just to jump into the teleporter to xen and have the game crash with an error message saying sucker

Xen will be available and jumping into the portal will teleport us there, but since people complained about platforming in a first person shooter, all floating platforms have been removed and as such, the game ends with Gordon falling down through ether for all eternity.

But it makes sense, because Gordon’s crowbar has no mass.

The argument:

  • Gordon can swing his crowbar with no difficulty. This can imply that minimal energy is needed to do so. Less mass = less energy needed.
  • An object without mass is not affected by gravity. Therefore, the crowbar would remain floating, as the above posts suggest.
  • An object with no mass can still cause injuries just through swing force. Crowbar works as we see in games.
