America’s on the way out as a world power anyways, almost half this country just want to sit on their lazy ass and let a socialist government take care of them. so we probably won’t be seeing that “America world police” in video games so much anymore.

so who’s the next global power for good gonna be? any countries out there going towards capitalism?

for Generals 2, if they want it to be relevant to the near future, the third faction’s got to be China, and frankly, China should probably win :what:

Actually, it’s the hard line approach to foreign issues which screws America over. All the great Empires ended up screwing themselves over by being huge dicks to the rest of the world. America has been a complete and utter dick to everyone for the past 100 years, so it’s inevitable that they’ll get some backlash from it.

Look at the British Empire. It ruled 1/4 of the entire world’s population at it’s peak and was seemingly invincible. It had the military and the cash to do whatever it wanted.
But because they were the biggest assholes in the world for such a long time everyone else said “FUCK YOU, we don’t want to play anymore” and that was the end of the Empire.

China are now going to be the biggest assholes in the world.

America just needs to get used to the idea that from now on they’ll be China’s bitch. Just like how the UK is now America’s bitch.

Well, America did try the isolationist approach for both World Wars, but when the rest of the world just won’t leave you be, it kinda shakes your beliefs that such a system would work.

Also, China isn’t going to do anything to the US. Their economy is as dependent on ours as ours is on theirs.

People need to make a game where China is good guy and American is bad guy.

Anyway, this game look great to me. Although the only C&C I enjoyed is RA2.

The first Generals is one of my favourite RTS of all time!
Hope sequel will be as good.
