They didn’t butcher it at all.
It might not be as good as Westwood could of done, but it’s still written by the same people and it still has exceptional gameplay and balance.
And all your accusations are based off one screenshot, probably from an alpha or beta build.
The only thing I’m worried about is the class system, and the fact that only one class can build a base.

And if you release a screenshot then you should realize that people are gonna consider it representative of the final game. Besides, RA3 didn’t change one iota between the first screenshots and the final game, same with CnC3.

No, but like I said, CnC3 and RA3 didn’t change shit between the first released screenshots and the final release. EA isn’t like Blizzard you know, they don’t listen to their customers. StarCraft 2 has already listened to fan input, I doubt this will ever happen with an EA game.
Even the few games that do change between first media and final release almost never change THAT much, it’s usually only small things that change.

No, it’s just my opinion, but then again so is anyone else’s in this thread. I simply gave my opinion on the subject of Cnc4 and I don’t expect anyone to agree with it, but I can give my opinion on the matter nonetheless.

The Mammoth Mk2 didn’t look anything like this disaster, but this CnC4 mech does look a lot like the Scarab from Halo Wars. And I think that quadrupal mech units were already known long before even Tiberian Sun. AT-AT anyone?
