You can be sure it would be a really large premiere. I can’t think of another movie at around this time period that you could be sure would be packed.
I’m actually surprised with the amount of people that he shot (I think they said 71) that only 12 were killed.
It’s terrible to see how you bloody idiots can make fun about such a tragedy. Imagine your friend or your parents died there, would you be making f***ing jokes about it too? Maybe I wouldn’t care about if one of you jackasses died, but for sure I wouldn’t make any goddamn jokes about it. Shame on you, I hope you’ll experience the death of a friend or a relative as soon as possible. That would put a end to your stupitidy and ignorance. Loosing someone who’s important to you hurts, and knowing that he was innocent and was killed by a insane doesn’t make it any better. Neither do your stupid jokes.
If one of my family members died in this manor, I would still make jokes about the situation. My grandmother just died of cancer several days ago. If I hear a joke that pertains to cancer and its funny, I will still laugh at it. If I could think of any good cancer jokes right now I’d tell you one.
These people are dead, might as well get something useful from their deaths. We cannot let their deaths be in vain.
They make jokes because this forum has become 4chan Jr. Its only a matter of time till they start blaming another forum for egging the shooter on.
Of course I’m not happy or anything that this happened but being depressed about it isn’t helping any more than making light of it. The situation is rather funny when you think about it, but making jokes about it isn’t devaluing the lives of these people I wouldn’t think.
Of course I would want people to be kind of sad if I died but I wouldn’t want it to depress the hell out of them. If I had been in this thing (and survived, or if there’s an afterlife) I would like to think I would joke about it rather than get fucking ptsd.
It might sound kind of insensitive but at the end of the day they’re people I don’t know. Of course it sucks this happened and I do feel bad for the people that have to deal with it but I’m not going to stop and mourn for strangers half a country away.
I never said you gotta be said or depressed about it. I just think that making jokes about it isn’t the right way of dealing with it…

Anything - ANYTHING - is fair game for being made light/fun of. You can’t draw the line anywhere. The only stipulation is that it has to actually be humorous.
I shouldn’t be surprised that someone who imposes censorship on himself in a freakin’ internet forum is try to suppress what others are saying, though.
I’m sorry but that’s the internet for you, if you think this is bad 4chan is a living hell. I don’t mind the jokes, but they aren’t really making fun of the dead, just the incident. All jokes aside it’s hard to care for someone you never knew, although we do care we aren’t going to be sentimental about it.
TBH I thought that this was a movie prank to get more views. Kinda like how one time someone dressed as the Joker and stole movie wallpapers and props once at the The Dark Knight opening. By prank I meant that no one died and it was paintball guns or something.
I was planning on going to the midnight showing here, but I would have probably fallen asleep during the movie.

not meant to be a haha joke, but one of those fan pranks. Hard to explain, but something like a play and eventually the Saturday after release someone dressed Batman would find him and arrest him and they’d put it on the news.

If you take a moment and consider the fact that people are constantly making jokes about the Holocaust, 911, pedophiles, rape, etc then you should understand… Ann frankly you should be used to it by now.
