Collision Radio - Pulse

So, this will be my first album in a very long time, actually, probably largest gap between any of my albums really, anyway, normal stuff, sort of.

As with my ever changing music style this album continues that trend, with some of the influences of this album being the usual Aphex Twin, Kelly Bailey, Daft Punk, Trentemoller mix but with newer stuff like Autechre and Profressor Kliq.

So yeah, track list, rather short as usual in number, but most tracks are decent length. (I am aware some of the tracknames in the rar are different to these, but that’s what they were rendered as out of wavlab and I forgot to change before rar’ing and uploading, so dwi.)

  1. Mushroom Returns
  2. Harpy [Part I]
  3. Harpy [Part II]
  4. The Sound of Air
  5. White Matter
  6. Ambiklique
  7. Tykke
  8. Tera

sounds great, downloading it when i get home from school

Downloading right now. Do you still have links to your previous work? Because I could upload them if you want.

I am excited. Been wondering when you’d put out something new.

…this wouldn’t happen to be in 5.1, would it? I could not fully enjoy your last experiment because I don’t, to quote you, “live in this century”. :frowning:

I really like the cover art. Not so sure about the font, though.

Mushroom 3 - Love the startup. The main bassline is cheesy but it’s overall p.nice.
harpy pt.1 - Don’t like the 2:00-2:27 wah-wah sound, and the heavenly voice is p.overplayed. Great job with the other effects. Especially like the 0:30-1:00 drone.
harpy pt.2 - a WHOLE LOT cheesier than pt.1. Has pretty generic EDM stuff in it. Don’t really like this.
The sound of air - Nice ambiance. Sounds a bit like early autechre with field recordings. The dropletish sounds and the bass sound unrefined. Could use some work.
White matter - I like this. The bass really reminds me of UT.
Ambiklique - Love it. You can really hear the autechre influence on this. Relaxing and ambientish. Probs my favourite.
Tykk - The main whine is grating. Didn’t really give this a good listen.
Tera - Def improved since last version, but maybe bit too much glitching in 0:30-2:00, I’d seperate the beat glitch and the bass glitch, and tone the bass glitch down. 4:16 still needs a bit more punch in it.
