Co-Op still can be played!

I can’t imagine why so many policemen are assigned to work with partners. I mean, there’s just another guy who could get you entailed in a rodney-king case, or who could accidentally shoot you if he mistakes you for a gun-wielding perp in a vacant building you’re sent to scour, or who could be taken hostage or be injured and become a liability.

I mean, unless your buddy is talented and respectable. Then the benefits of another gun become blindingly obvious. Perhaps someone you trust in real life, instead of a random twelve-year-old stranger on the internet.

In unrelated news, I understand now why the devs have decided to forgo making co-op a priority. It might involve a lack of IRL friends with which to best experience the fruit of their labour.

A lot of people, me included, would rather play one of their favorite games through with their friends than a game with a thin story and zombie shooting. Sure half-life has zombies, but It’s a more deep and rewarding experience. And if you play it with close friends like I do it usually ends up either we work together, or if we feel like screwing around, we do stupid things because their funny. As fun as a SP game might be, having working coop only enhances the experience.

Touche…

Question: How are they going to apprehend both Gordon and the buddy in Apprehension, if Gordon steps into the room and the buddy stays outside? How will two people navigate those areas which only allow 1 person to pass through?

Well ALL of these don’t matter. BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO CO-OP BY THE DEVS!

Hence the title of this thread, “Co-Op still can be played!”

But it’s technically impossible with the op’s way! So… We have to wait for some team to get the source codes, and make black mesa co-op!

Oh hey, you changed your avatar! Thanks!

Oh COME ON. MY AVATAR WASN’T THAT BAD!

Personally I found it quite disturbing  And just for shits and giggles could you post a link to the original so I can save it for old time’s sake :stuck_out_tongue:

It is in my computer. I can send you one. My current one is from Nostalgia critic’s latest review of Flintstones the movie.

If we are still criticizing avatars, can I keep my Chihuahua?

Is Synergy a good alternative for Co-Op?

All there needs to be done are some settings at the default spawn, and maybe something like allow more players on those carts, and let them respawn.

easy they have already done it in sven coop, they just both appear in the grabage disposal because either way you just spawn in that map.

I dont know why people are saying it sucks, from what some people have said when they played it for a little bit they played sucky maps because some are lengendary and some creators are awsome at it. Also it is 10 times better when your playing with close friends in a LAN party. Because you can have any map with any game because its relatively easy to create a map in the half life 1 engine. and so you can have a laugh. i have always liked coop because its makes it’s more interesting than being on your own for a whole game.
Of course if you have a jerk with you then its gonna be annoying but thats just common sense.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
