Christmas Tradeoff

If you had the choice of giving up all gifts you would receive this Christmas for the on-time release of BMS, would you do it? Tough question for me, cuz’ I’m supposed to get a new computer this year…which means I could play BMS to its full potential…

I like this question. And my answer isn’t hard at all. No.

I’m not getting anything amazing for christmas (except hopefully some cash) but I’ve still got mods out the wazoo. I’ve been averaging better than a mod every week, but I’m still not going to be able to clear out the list of mods I still have yet to play. This gives me the chance to clear out my other mods so I can start Black Mesa as soon as it releases.

I’m excited for BM but I’m not going to give up anything for it, lol.

Not at all. I’m eager to play it, but I definitely don’t want it that badly…

I’m not getting anything. Not a single thing. Trade nothing for something? Sure. I’d do that

:frowning:

^this, unfortunately…

Nah, I wouldn’t. It’ll be a great game, but why give up some books I’ve been wanting to read for a game that might be released just a month afterwards?

:mono:

shouldn’t that be an easy question for you?

Well, it depends, if I was to give up all of my presents, and give up buying presents for other people, yes definitely:3! But of course that would deprive other people of their presents,:freeman: oh well I’m sure it will come out by the time SGU comes back! :frowning:

Would I? Not knowing whats coming, Id probably say yes.

I came into this thread expecting it to be a thread about a media release for us as a Christmas present, because BM got delayed. I was pleasently suprised.
As for the question, no I wouldn’t

SUPPOSED being the key word there, I.E. NOT A DEFINITE POSSIBILITY

Once again, we get it! The mod looks amazing! Stop sucking the BMSTeam’s crowbar!

Also, no. Sorry guys, but I’ve already played Half-Life 1, but I have NOT played Metal Gear Solid 4 yet.

I’ve already had an early Christmas present and I needs it so, no.

Not completely (it keeps the family together and anyone below the age of 18 gets awesome presents), but the main purpose of it (celebrating the birth of a man that never existed/wasn’t as great as everyone thought) is worthless.

Besides, the holiday inspired some awesome movies.
“Home Alone” anyone?
I don’t care what you say: Watching guys getting hit in the face with paintcans is funny!

Whatever, Scrooge…

Holidays are NEVER worthless.

Fixed.

Ah, but I work a nice, cushy government job, so holidays are worth time and a half.
