Nope
I’m actually kinda bummed. Because, now what? We play it. We like it. We move on. No more reason to click this bookmark 6 times a day. Next time I open Mozilla, what’ll I do then? Go to Youtube? Please. This was always my first stop. Hopefully we’ll wait a few years for Xen. Then I’ll have a constant expectation in my head.
As you will see in the post in the News forums, the game ends when you enter the portal into Xen. We will be releasing Xen as soon as we can after the mod’s official release, but considered it to be a good cutoff point for now.
Certainly been waiting on this for a while… through the days of Leak-Free and Gamernode, and all of the various hacks and shutdowns of the websites. Good to see the mod is finally coming out.

Congratulations, everyone involved with getting this segment out the door. Have been watching this for many years and am VERY excited to see the 2-week counter. Keep up the awesome work for the Xen segment!!

This news really made my day!! Im sure that all wait of the mod really will worth, well done BM team.
If you think about it, the game is called Black Mesa, so releasing the next mod, titled “Xen,” will be pretty clever.
I’m actually more okay with them not releasing Xen first release then I was when it was just rumors, oddly. Though it kinda makes me feel like the devs might have been pressured - even after all these years - to release the unfinished game. But none-the-less, congratulations on finally bringing the project to a close, and thank you for the hard-work and dedication.
I hope it’ll have been worth the wait.

I couldn’t express my excitement in words, so I made a cheap ass SFM video.
I started to make an unofficial trailer, but all the Black Mesa looking maps I found didn’t cooperate with SFM very well. Is anyone on the Dev Team looking to make another official trailer for the game?
Eleven days so and so hours… I’ll believe it when I see it.
So, I loaded facebook for some god awful reason for the first time in weeks and see a post from BM and ohgoddsngjods gbdsg dskjng.
After following this game’s development for the majority of it’s life, I can’t wait.
