Cartoonized friends

So the other day I was in Steam Chat (BM) and Catz said she would like a cartoon avatar like Hubi. So without a word I immediately got to work >.<
And about an hour later I produced this:

I went through lots of art styles when developing it, but finally landed on the one I have there. I was really happy of it and proud of myself.

Then after showing off to my friend Brielle she asked for one and so about 30 minutes later I had this:

She was super happy with it and I was quite pleased at the progress I had made skill-wise in my art.

Then I made one for the girl I [COLOR=‘Red’]dislike, Lindsey.

Ironically enough, this one was probably the least like the original. I guess I was worrying too much and just couldn’t get it to be quite as pretty as the real thing. She commented that she looks scared in my rendition.

Then another one of my friends said that they were cool and I created her one as well:

This one was a bit more simplistic but I think it turned out ok. She was more or less happy with it.

Then after seeing that one, my friend Amanda asked for one. I created this for her:

Ok, so now I have quite a queue built up of people who want images … lots’a requests. So here’s Devyn’s:

The hair on this one took me for freakin’ EVER. Hope it turned out good…

So in the few images that I’ve done, I think I’ve progressed tremendously and gained a new skill. I didn’t think I’d be able to pull this off to begin with but sure enough it’s turning out quite nicely. The moral of the story is to always go for something, even if you don’t think you’d be able to make it :3

And no, I’m not taking requests… unless you’re Raminator or a close friend :wink:

And also, yes I haven’t attempted to make one for a guy yet, but I will take a stab at that soon. Idk how my artistic skills will hold up for that one lol.

Thanks all of you! And Catz, I’ll be adding your eyebrows in a moment. I just forgot I guess >.< gimme’ a break; it was my first one D;

Also, working on another person’s too and their hair is sooo hard to make >.<

Actually, some of those ‘friends’ of mine up there (excluding Catz) range from 16 to 14. I’ll let you guess which are which.
