Its where you turn up the juice flow. Sometimes dangerous cuz it means you are turning up the heat. Heat is bad for a computer.
hey guize how do u overclosk? bcos my pc only has a clock that tells the tiem.
Whats internet? :3
You can build a better PC for less than that, why spend more $$ for less power?
And you’d be building on top of an existing PC that’s not that outdated, unless you wanna go core i5 or i7 soon, in which case even your friend’s PC would need a new mobo, ram cpu, maybe even the powerbox.
My PC is better than that and since it was custom hacked by SwampFox to run at about 7 faster than anyone’s computer in the world, I won’t have to upgrade it again for about a decade, according to him.
Overclocking doesn’t necessarily mean turning up the voltage.
You can’t just buy a new motherboard and graphics card and pray the powersupply is capable of delivering enough power. Not to mention memory compatibility on the motherboard and the CPU socket.
I was speaking more metaphorically. :meh:
GPU’s create more heat when OC’d also you can overheat without changing the voltage, but that would be due to poor cooling not the overclock.
Really? Fine, you show me a list of better parts for $500 and I might believe you.
I don’t think it’s possible but it’s worth the try, give me a website you would like to order from and I’ll try.
And remember those $500 are 500 AUSTRALIAN dollars, so it’s… what? 2 cents US?
Ok forget about my post.
You guys doing well this recession then?
We all know AUD is a synonym for Monopoly money.
Yep, our government likes to throw asswads of money at the general public in an effort to go out and spend our economic troubles away, like last year.
