[BUG REPORT] Bugs Encountered so far...

NOTE: I WILL KEEP UPDATING THIS WITH BUGS I FIND

  • In the beginning of the offices map, if you climb something and manage to go above the ceiling it appears as if invisible.

  • Enable Auto Aim and Always Run options in menu keep enabling by themselves (usually when a new map is loaded).

  • Enabling the Iron Sight Sticky option bugs the iron sight of the magnum in multiplayer, it can’t be disabled without switching guns and it makes the gun use the new iron sight look. Not sure if this applies to the crossbow or not as well.

  • When taking the elevator the first time (which later falls with the scientists in the beginning of the game) the loading screen sometimes doesn’t trigger when the elevator stops and the door doesn’t open.

  • I’m randomly getting stuck in props or between props and walls.

  • Whenever firing the Tau Cannon and switching to another weapon the little light effect in front of the cannon stays on screen for a couple of seconds.

  • Sometimes when Vortigaunts (Haven’t noticed other enemies doing this so far) spawn they don’t move around or follow me (sometimes they don’t even attack), don’t know if this was intended or not, but it’s easy to exploit them by hiding around corners to reload.

  • So far I have experienced a few random crashes during multiplayer, here’s the dump file.

  • After moving or disabling a turret the red light duplicates and does not disappear, it just stays floating in the air

  • Not sure if this is a bug or if it is intentional, but the crowbar is really fast when attacking, way too fast.

  • NPC animations sometimes act funny when the NPC is doing a particular scripted action, for example a guard suddenly stood up while pumping someone’s chest.

  • Sometimes when you start running with the pistol after switching weapons and trigger the sprint animation your hands just freeze in the air for several seconds.

  • NPCs will sometimes try to shoot you through the cover they are standing behind.

  • When hitting windows with a crowbar only the first hit damages the window, none of the following hits seem to crack the windows even though the sound is still played.

  • dm_bounce causes huge performance issues when going outside.

  • Don’t know if this is intentional or not, but you can’t sprint or use flashlights in multiplayer.

  • Sprint animations for Remote Explosives and Grenades trigger several seconds later after starting to sprint and continue several seconds more after stopping.

  • There is no sprint animation for the Crossbow.

  • Weapon models randomly disappear sometimes in multiplayer (haven’t encountered it in Single Player yet).

  • Remote control model for explosives sometimes doesn’t appear after an explosive bag has been thrown at the ground.

  • In the Customize Character screen models don’t have eyes.

  • Crossbow scope is sometimes invisible when zooming in.

  • New Iron Sights are not usable in multiplayer, no matter if the classic iron sights option is activated or not Iron Sights always use the classic look.

  • This visual glitch sometimes happens to both NPCs and corpses usually after you load a save file.

  • The door inside the elevator shaft near the end of Office Complex just magically after you climb down a ladder and get on the other side.

*After you take the first big cargo elevator in the We’ve got Hostiles chapter if you try to go back on the elevator you bump into an invisible wall and the only way to avoid it is to jump.

  • Sometimes if you try to shoot a zombie while it’s getting up, it gets stuck in an animation loop of standing up.

  • This is something minor, but as I said I’m going to report all the bugs I encounter, this visual glitch happens right before you defeat Gargantua, in the room where you plug in the cables.

  • In some places there are flashing textures.

  • Instead of grabbing on to ladders you sometimes go through them.

I didn’t know that the iron sight of the revolver (in multiplayer) gets bugged because of the enabled “Iron Sight Sticky” option o_O Still… this needs to be fixed !!! I hate when I cannot see the magnum in its original position after zooming out of iron-sight view :frowning:

The devs already know about the issue with the Vortiguants. It will be fixed, but it doesn’t have an ETA :frowning:
