BM Coverage in Australian PC Powerplay

80meg for a 6 page scan!. I should scan my copy at 300dpi and it will still be around 5 meg - though we need Aussies to support mags like this.

The article to me doesn’t come across as insanely positive though after reading it is apparent the author is not a big fan of the Half Life series as he makes out to be.

The differenent yet mostly subtle interactions between enemies, weapon and level changes would have been a big rant mode comparison reference - for me anyway.

That’s fine by me if you want a poor quality version with so much flash you can’t even read some of the words.

The lambda in Gordon is obviously photoshopped. I can still see the outline of the O in there.

How about posting the non-doctored one (or fixing the white aliased border around the half-life symbol so it’s not so obvious).

What’s with all the superscript E business, I mean I undersand the lambda symbol, but we’ve never seen the E thing before, it looks kinda strange…

Durr, zim they are going to remove the pics, regardless of the post you quote.

Are those phys-prop cubicles i see?

Dang, it was up a second ago. :frowning:

Its in the Half Life 2 and hl2mp font which is what they appear to have used (find it in the resource folder in Steamapps \half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\resource:

And those were photoshoped :stuck_out_tongue:

ah yes! I seem to have completely forgot/overlooked that the VALVe logo had it, silly me! :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: Crap double post, first post was on the next page and I obviously forgot I posted it first, sorry, gang!

Yeah, I only saw it resized. Silly me.

Valve, not VALVe.
Sorry, it’s a pet peeve.

I say VALVe because I got into the habit of writing it like that.
Although I do alternate beween Valve and VALVe quite a bit.

Actually its VALVE. All caps. – Jeez n00barz, get it right! :stuck_out_tongue:

How about VALVE… Pretend we’re in html. :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: P.S. Is there a way to get superscript on forums?

Damn, just checked my charmap for superscripted caps letters… nothin.

Wait… why are we having a discussion about this again? Its completely off-topic. :fffuuu:

oh sorry, lets set it straight again: oooh can I has any scanz plox, pretty plz!!1one

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
