BM Coverage in Australian PC Powerplay

I HAVE IT. Its not so great.

Guys, please don’t post links to the scans in here, they’ll just get deleted.

damn you fridge. well I can post a link to my photobucket account cant I?
[COLOR=‘Red’]nope

Guys, just right click Dillxn’s link, select “save as” and download as a pdf document thingie. No worries (yet).

It’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

EDIT: I just noticed, it said Gordan is the title :FFFUUU:

You’re doing it wrong.

(Better to ask forgiveness than permission)

Thank you Level.

:fffuuu:
It’s Black Mesa, the untold story of Gordan Fropemak

Wow, they basically said its going to be better than HL2.
edit - FUCK SAKE YOU AMATEUR, how hard is it to just use the BM Mesa logo for an “O” ??? hahahaha

Could somebody PM me this link-type thing that I hear all about?

Hahahahaha, that better have been trollin, if not that would be the biggest fail since… well, BM not releasing in 09! :fffuuu:

<3

Uh, wait a sec, what is all this GordAn hype, it wasn’t like that in the article…

Oh, hahaha. Someone edited that scan. I just checked mine, it’s spelled correctly.

Editor. I am dissapoint.

You’ve been played, good sir.

Good article, gives newcomers an exciting overview while informing veterans how awesome the actual experience of playing is.

From the sounds of things there are a whooole bunch of scripted sequences, often right after one another. Of course the resonance cascade is an event-filled sequence… so perhaps its just reflective of that particular level.

In any case, sounds like the staff of the magazine had fun with it and are super pumped (as they should be). It should turn a few more eyes toward the inevitable release, and it makes me even more convinced that the game will get major internet press coverage when we finally get our grubby hands on it.

I have to say though, I hope the images look at least 10x better on glossy paper than they do in a sloppy scan… the scan makes it look like the screenshots chosen do not do the game justice, with the possible exception of the very first hueg one.

Oh, you’re right. Fool me once, etc. Good show, Zim.

I got mine!
Gordon was spelt correctly in my mag… unless there is something I’m missing haha

The article was a alright read but the screens were fulfilling.

EDIT: Mmmmmm… wow mega ninja’d much

Oh dayum, finally got my hands on it with the help of my bro and yes indeed, we sadly have not be trolled. :[

Well, not by the mag anyway. Hahaha :3

Hm, someone was pretty late on removing Zim’s link, haha. It was there for a pretty good amount of time. :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: I’m really happy to see that the slave Vortigaunt wasn’t the one i thought they were using (the hl2 combine slave vortigaunt), and instead a custom one with green neck piece and wrist braces. Probably the most satisfying part of the article.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
