In other words, they can’t do this with any degree of certainty and the sheer effort involved is greater than the benefit.
Also, Alcator, get a grip man, someone has given BM a very big bit of free promotion; the very least the dev team can do is to ensure that the magazine is promoted in turn by preventing action that could potentially eat into their sales.
It’s called being polite, try it someday :hmph:
Yeah, just saw the thread. We’re just SOL now, aren’t we? :’(
I honestly don’t think a scan of that one article would affect their sales in Australia.
Awesome, i have the magazine, its soo pritty
also i think im willing to buy some for other members outside of Australia who want all its goodness. But i want the amount plus postage into my bank, other than that no dice, none of this paypal crap -_-
I have to agree. Here the editor says he is fine with scans being posted,
And the writer also does not say he doesn’t want scans posted.
However a mod states that the editor and writer have requested to withhold scans, unless those I quoted are not the editor and writer and the team have received a message from either, I do not see a problem with releasing scans.
I am seeing some conflicting stuff here,
I am sure many of our fans will have scans available on an external website (we do not have control over this).
However, you will not see them on our site for at least a week.
