BM Coverage in Australian PC Powerplay

Bah, sorry, I’ve been ill lately and had little sleep. Things are going straight over my head.

It depends on who gets it. Some idiot could steal that data and leak it. I hope no man is dumb enough to do it but I have seen people do worse.

And the ramifications would be what exactly? The devs aren’t going to stop making the mod just because a very small fraction of it was released early. This is a showcase edition; it doesn’t provide the whole experience, and leaking it early would probably increase interest in the project, rather than anything else.

Obviously I’m not advocating that someone should leak it, I’m just saying that we don’t all need to worry about it, since the consequences of it being leaked can hardly be classified as bad. Unfortunate, yes, but disastrous? Not at all.

Awesome, you’ve made it into Powerplay, now announce that the whole game is a hoax!

making front page of a magazine:
So much better than making it on a spot of a now canceled gamers television program

Cinematech was cancelled?! :fffuuu:

WHERE!??? WHERE link me where can I!???

Wow, easy girl, easy girl…one word at a time :3

Oh, I’m sorry, I apologize, Catz. I don’t know what I was thinking about when I posted that; it was back when I was ill and getting little sleep.

Again, my sincerest apologies for getting your hopes up.

Yep.
I’ll let you refer to the image that so often represents me nowadays.

9001 dpi?

Oh Dil… you internet so cute. All is forgiven. Back to square one and having someone ship it to me. Literally… by ship. hhaaha! Didnt realize they actually DID stuff like that!

You can do that :awesome:

I’m the fellow who wrote the article, and I have no intention of leaking any screens, videos or data :stuck_out_tongue: Just because it’s an occupation most people don’t take seriously doesn’t mean that we don’t act like professionals!

We don’t have the budget to send the magazine out to everyone we interview. According to my editor, anyway. I’m a freelancer so can’t send it out of my on wallet, either. I simply can’t afford to send magazines to the people I interview/feature every month because it’s a lot! I always offer to scan the article once I get a copy of it, though.

We hope you enjoy the article when it hits the shelves. I of course encourage the Australians to actually purchase it instead of just reading scans, however :stuck_out_tongue:

I hope my copy turns up in the next day or so. Totally pumped for the article.

Nice one Rezdnore. Welcome to the forums.

I hope i can buy it and read it, but it is not on malaysia.:meh:

Welcome to the forums and thanks for posting this. You basically said what I said a couple pages back but the believability goes up when you have the official word.

Cameron  has promised to ship me a couple copies when it comes in so I am all set. For me, it is worth the extra cash to have a hard copy in my hands. =-D

I suppose THAT had nothing to do with this shocking new development in the bonanza (word doesn’t work!) of your life?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
