Successful magazine troll is successful
Siggs…shh.
You gotta understand the intent of the magazine writers to know what they were thinking. This isn’t a best game top 50, which will be decided by those on the PCPP forums for a future Top 100 BEST Games of the decade. But this is a top 50 games that had an influence on us and gave out a reaction to be known throught the ages.
What Deus Ex - Invisible War did was let developers know that us gamers want a say in what gets into a game and we will be heard, after this game was released, universal rage filled the internet and soon enough every developer was asking for feedback on what should and shouldn’t be in a game.
hahaha
Got the magazine today.
It was a good read, and nice to see some screenshots.
I must say its looking & sounding amazing.
I can’t wait to play what I’m sure will be a highly polished product.
Keep up the good work!
What a joke… hah
I can’t believe WoW was even included in the poll, that game has killed.
Nor should AudioSurf, it’s a nice little game, but game of the decade ???
OMG… why’s HL2 on 8 >_> FAIL
Eh, I’ve made it pretty publicly known that I don’t like Half-Life 2, so I think place 8 is quite fitting.
Seriously…
Audiosurf, Dawn of War, Vampire bloodlines, WoW, they all have their good points, they’re good games(maybe in WoW’s case, incredibly influential if not good). But not top 10 of the decade worthy, I think. And I still stand by Invisible War being an abortion of a #1
.
No matter how one hates WoW, it is still the most epic achievement of the industry and community yet.
And yes, Deu Sex doesn’t exist beneath #1
Videogame “journalism” sucks lol
I kind of have to agree to a sense. I liked it, better than most FPS titles out there, if not most. But i really liked what they where going for with the pre-2004 story. It seemed much more ‘half-lifey’ if i may say.
Woohoo. :3
I’m pretty sure I('d) feel the same way as you, but I haven’t read the pre-2004 story. looks up
Man, everyone who liked Half-Life 1 and the series must read “Raising the Bar”, sooooo good! It explains all the pre-release cut content that was experimanted with.
Half-life and Half-life 2 at least should be in top 3!
