Em, and what do you expect? Main dev guy ™ showing up here and posting: YES WE DO, THANKS?

It don’t seems they have a time for this right now. Maybe they’re still celebrating the release (I’d bee doing exactly that after all the years it took) but rumours are that devs are doing their best quick-fixing most major bugs in preparation to the Steam release of the mod. Who knows, maybe the bug you had posted would be fixed by the upcoming patch as well.

well doesnt this forum have any moderators who come in and say either of the of the following:
-yeah we already know this, please read the known bugs before posting
-thanks for you report we have added this to known bugs.

  • we have passed this on to the devs to investigate

Please see here to continue discussing this bug.

They could, but looking at the sheer number of posts and threads being added each day (sometimes even about the exact same bug), do you think any moderator wants to invest more time in making sure that each reported bug has been approved from a ‘somewhat’ official source, instead of reporting these bugs to the developers themselves or adding them to the internal database / noting them down for re-view?

Spending more time on assuring the approval of each reported bug, than actually working on fixing those bugs (or at least noting them down) is very contra-productive for the project as a whole (even if said moderator(s) are not in direct contact with the developer team).

I’m sure the Devs don’t miss any submitted bug, they just don’t come in and say how happy they are that you added something relevant.

No offence.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
