Blast Pit Fan

Whist going through the Chapter Blast Pit, the game crashed after I start the massive fan.

I Have an mdmp attachment detailing the crash:

Advice, solution, or ideas concerning the resolution to this issue would be appreciated.

I’ve gotten the same crash. You’re not alone!

Similar crash here too, and it happens about 5 seconds after I start the fan. Crash dump included.

Same here. Only restarting the map from a beginning save helped - it didn’t happen for 2nd time.

I confirm this bug, It seems to crash whenever the resolution is higher.

Running this in 1024x768 seems to work fine but setting it to 1920x1080 it causes my computer to crash

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770k
GFX: ATi Radeon HD 6850 (By Powercolor)
12GB Ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit English.

EDIT: It seems to crash whenever it tries to emit the particles …

EDIT2: Attached some recent minidumps.

I had this issue, then noticed that there was a crate on fan, destroyed the crate before turning it on and had no problems, also moved pallets out of the way.

Had the same issue and didn’t have a crate on the fan, but throwing 2 pallets down helped, thank you, sir.

You don’t see it. Simply reload the autosave and watch for crates.

I confirm breaking the pallets solves this problem.
