I want to play this game so bad but it wont start :’(
I downloaded source SDK base 2007 and even 2006 with steam but is still wont work 
whenever i press play on blackmesa on steam it loads for a few seconds and then i see a small blacksreen foor a brief second and than nothing happens >
PLEASE HELP ME I`M SO DESPRETE TO PLAY THIS AWESOME GAME!

Sorry, AMD Athlons don’t have the required instruction sets to run BM.

In short, it’s a technical issue which cannot be easily worked around. What you can do is play the game on another computer with a different processor than an AMD Athlon, or wait until the developers release a fix. That is, assuming they release a fix.
