Blackmasasource.com only works for me through a proxy!?

So as far as I can figure I haven’t been or done anything to have my ip banned from this site. I can get on through my phone and by using a proxy just fine but it won’t work on any of my computers on my network. Every other website I go to works just fine, what gives?

delete all drivers

delete all user accounts

You might as well just pour a liter of ginger ale into your computer’s power supply. Preferably at the exact moment it’s trying to connect to https://www.blackmesasource.com.

I did the ip address thing but it didn’t fix the problem. Everything else you suggested would only effect just my computer and not my network. I know it’s not just my computer because I’ve tried connecting with three different computers and my phone while it’s connected to wifi and none of them work.

ok that 2nd suggestion of mine was a joke (april 1st) so try this:

clear browser cache and check browser LAN setting (toggle between “auto detect” and “no proxy server”) then,

Start
search for: Network Connections
Right click on your active Local Area Connection and click Properties
Choose TCP/IP V4, Properties again and in the DNS boxes type 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

Rather than change the DNS servers in Windows, I’d do it through the router, to guarantee it will work properly on all devices on that network. Check out opendns

Have you run anything like TCP optimizer lately? If you have return to windows defaults, if not try it.

Never ran a TCP optimizer, I’ve played with every setting I could think of and finally just reset my router to its default settings… still nothing. I was trying to re-up a picture for my sig when I got kicked off, I think I did something wrong to freak out the website on the back end… so I was kinda hoping Hubicorn might be able to look into it. Please!

It says, “connection timed out”

Have you attempted to connect without the router?

This may sound odd, but when you go to the page and it says “connection timed out” try pressing ctrl+f5 to do a complete refresh of the page. With my ISP there are some pages that will not load correctly for me and sometimes not at all unless I do that.

Nothings working, ctrl+ f5 would only make sense if it was just one computer, none of my computers plus my phone on wifi won’t work.
