Man, the 2005 site design just ROCKS! And that intro and the music were great too!
Some right memories in there :o
Whoops messed up the title. It was supposed to say Black Mesa through the ages.
Not sure why the Black Mesa Home or Forums url don’t appear after 2007 on Waybackmachine. Maybe something to do with being part of Gamernode. May be able to find it via another url or ip address.
wow, i liked the old design , freakin sweat, but i guess they made a good choice to remove the flash part, especially if you going to be visiting the site each day.
Wow that was wayyyyyy back
What a nostalgia
Ah, that’s awesome.
I’d vote for that again.
All I’m seeing is a black screen.
I remember that, like it was only yesterday. ^^
Oh snap! I remember that. :freeman:
.
I love the old layout, it was beautiful.
Wow, thats pretty damn good. Also it uses my fave music from HL2
Damn… Ages ago.
I was a guest. :freeman:
oh shit, so im fallowing this mod since 2005 ? thats like 4 years O_o
Ancient times rofl
this community has grown up from cave to mystic black mesa lair. soon BM community will rule the world xD
NO BM WILL RULE THE GALAXY!
but i definitively can see the changes from that design to present…well before the “invasion by aliens” aka crash lol
Beautiful.
Yeah me too. The ‘flash version’ is just a black screen.
The first one that works for me is December 01 of 2006.
Thats a brilliant site, I think I found this mod just a little after they changed the website.
Although I think that design is more for looking good that actually being efficient
zOMG media! I dunno if I like the old one or the current one.
Yes, That was the problem. But who’s to say something eyeopening is not in store for the website? wink
Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
