…probably the right place to do this, haven’t used a forum for a long time…

last night i downloaded black mesa in a matter of seconds, began to play and was really happy. the game amounted a mishmash of random media images and half life 2 game play. nothing made sense, but i was so happy to be playing black mesa nothing mattered. i woke up to go turn on my computer for a whole weekend of playing black mesa. It was at this point i started crying because i realized the whole thing was obviously a badly constructed dream.

I’m probably just weird, but has this happened to anyone else, BM related or else?

and again, haven’t used forums in like 800 years so all death-threats/bans/rude remarks etc is completely fine on my part.

Happened to me before, except the graphics were realistic as hell, I imagined playing all the way through to the 3rd chapter with perfect BM graphics.

Drugs make dreams even more believable, unfortunately.

I was dreaming about the mod’s release. When I finally got to play the highly anticipated mod, it sucked bad. I was so happy to wake up and realize it was only a dream.

Yeah I said it before in the off topic thread.

I had a dream where I was playing Black Mesa, and Bruce Willis was in it.
I also had to fight eagles in some kind of ecodome, and I had to go to some mineshaft, which had a videocard shop at the entrance, where the 4870x2 was ridiculously overpriced.

And when I woke up I was all like ‘…wat?’

I had a dream just last night that the developers released only a few days into this year (the 15th of this month) and it didn’t make sense that they would need to delay the mod for that short amount of time but the developers responded saying that they knew all along it wouldn’t be delayed long; they just needed to fix a few things up.

I had once… except I fell into the screen and became Gordon’s buddy. After awhile it got real freaky since I figured out we left black mesa and were fishing for magic rocks. (surprisingly not drug related)

I have a dream that one day this mod will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all other mods suck bad.’

I have a dream that one day on this forum the true members and the true trolls will be able to sit down on their pcs playing this mod.

One time I had a dream where I played through HL1, HL2, EP1, and EP2 where everything was as real as it could get.

I had a dream where it was released but it was crap. There were Vortigaunts and Combine Soldiers running around the facility before the Resonance Cascade and some guys from Doom 3 were in the tram with me.

Yeah, Ive dreamed about the mod release more than once, and on random days also. Dont remember anything about them now, but I would wake up and be like SHIT!
