Black Mesa: The Series

TL;DR

I didn’t get it, it felt as a long strand of non-sequiturs. Really :expressionless:

Yes.

Don’t pursue a career in writing.

The Ladies Club: Episode 1

oh boy this is going to be great.

edit: that was fucking horrible.

The idea.

I think you get it.

Seriously, just stop this.

Beating the “sheet”? Seriously?

what

Oh Christ, he used some of my dialog…

And you’re right. It was horrid. I can’t un-see this…

There’s a difference between making something shitty for the sake of it being shitty and making something horrific because you suck dick.

Prime example of the former: Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff.
Prime example of the latter: This fucking monstrosity.

Don’t worry guys. It’ll get worse. :3

If there was anything funny about the lines I wrote, the small amount of humor there was shamelessly murdered by the text to speech lines. And considering the forums reaction, it wasn’t funny.

Besides, only Maxey’s accent makes his catch phrase of “you fucking prick” even remotely funny.

Don’t worry bro. There wasn’t anything funny about your script in the first place.

That capsized cruise ship off the coast of Italy is some real shit. Captain abandoned ship, leaving the crew scattered and disorganized. 3 passengers died, dozens are unaccounted for and many are injured.

Apparently the police have arrested the captain and he will probably be convicted for manslaughter. Crazy.

It’s why I generally don’t write comedy- it’s far too difficult to make something funny with broad appeal than it is to make something serious with broad appeal.

Honest question guys. Would it be better if I were to draw it out and make it a webcomic instead of a cartoon series?

No triage it’d be better if you just fucking stopped.

No, still wouldn’t work. As I’m rapidly figuring out, forum humor is impossible to replicate in any other medium. Forum humor is funny because it’s spontaneous, unexpected, and relies entirely on the other members for it’s value. A webcomic is none of these things. nor is an animation. I agree, Proximity. Let’s let this one die quietly.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
