Black Mesa Sketch Group

[COLOR=‘SandyBrown’]EDIT: CURRENT TOPIC
Draw a robot somewhere in Black Mesa.

Coop drawing is going on now. Go to https://www.iscribble.net sign up and join “Black Mesa Sketch Group”

I’ve been thinking about this for a while. I am starting a sketch group. I’d really like to be a better artist and I do better working with people. The idea behind a sketch group is we draw a new topic every week or so. I’d also like to organize some collaborative stuff on iscribble.net, opencanvas, or even on webcam. I’ll teach what little I know about drawing to anyone interested or better yet I can learn from someone else. I started a new steam group for announcements and events. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/BMSketch . If you’re interested post here and/or join the group. This is for people of all skill levels.

Tell me what you draw what you’d like to be able to do as an artist. Depending on what people want to do, I’ll get some topics going.

I’ll go first.

I mostly do figure drawing and wish I was good at it.

Sounds cool
I draw to but I don’t think Im any good for this Group
This is what I have

Hello I am being forced into signing up.

I would like to be able to be able to draw better with a mouse. Any sort of drawing is okay by me, figure drawing preferable so that I have to be careful.

I’m pretty solid at figure drawing after real life models, but I’m rather shit at drawing things on the go. Inspiration and originality are lacking.

Additionally: I should really spend more time using tablets.

i want 2 play internet drawing thing but i dont care about the whatever else

Then get the fuck out of the thread.

NO U

I’ve done mainly portraits and some animals, but I lack any notion of technical drawing, so proportions are way off and such.
I’m okay at drawing I guess, but lack of practice and/or lessons or whatever have caused me not to be able to do a whole lot.

I’ve been wanting to start trying to draw for a while now. I haven’t drawn anything artistic since 10th grade (technical drawings in 11th) so any skill that I had then is likely gone. I would prefer using a pencil and paper, and have no tablet or any fancy programs for images, though I could install one of the free options on my laptop.

wtf i looked at this isscribble.net thing is this a whole website for russsian children to trace anime and jack off? weird. i thought it was that pictonary game

You’re thinking of isketch. Which is a good one too.
This is one of the drawings I’ve worked on.

I use a drawing tablet but for anyone who doesn’t drawing on paper is fine.

sumopaint

First topic. Draw a logo for the steam group. It will end up being 184x184 pixels so try to make something that looks good in that size. For anything you do for the sketch group, please post it if you spent more then 5 minutes on it.

I’m thinking about having a new topic every Thursday. What do you guys think?

Just wonderin’, but when is this topic over and the logo is chosen?

I was thinking Thursday when we have new topic but I’m starting to think one topic a week isn’t enough.

Is there a theme we should work off of for the group? (BM logo?) Or should we just do whatever?

And should we post our pics in here I guess?

Just whatever would make a good logo for a sketch group. Yeah post here.

This looks pretty horribad, but it’s just a concept. If people like it, I’ll flesh it out more, and actually draw it on paper then scan it.

Anything I do for the group that I spent more than five minutes on? Alright, I spent probably slightly more then ten on this thing so might as well post it before heading to bed:

I want to do cartoons because cartoons are fun. But I can’t draw. Oh well, there’s always make-believing.

I draw a lot of monsters, guns, and I am an advocate for innovative design of genitalia and formal wear.

I can draw anything at all, and to most people whatever I draw looks good. To me, and other people that pay attention, it looks good when I put effort in.
