Black Mesa SDK?

Will we ever get one? Or do we just use the normal source SDK? Because I want to make/see Black Mesa mods.

the devs have been considering possibly maybe eventually potentially releasing one. I hope they do, but there is no official word yet

once its finally done with the release of Xen, I can’t think of any reason for them not to. I would love to see someone use it as a base for an opfor, blue shift or decay remake.

Most of all though I’d like to see someone mod the hl2 monsters back in, and make a map where grunts fight combine and gargs battle against striders lol

Black Mesa SDK would be mint, we could even see Opposing Force 2 released ?

The .fgd files are already present in the BMS directory, so you just load those into the Hammer editor and you’re good to go as far as I know.

For the record, we didn’t code any of our own tools. Basic added levels can easily be created using Hammer - the only thing you’re lacking is Black Mesa’s source code, which would be a different consideration.
